My Last
Kawasaki My first "shaftie". I purchased this bike on November 27, 1981 for $3,850. I put 38,000 miles on this bike. This was a wonderful, trouble-free bike. It's very similar to the police version except for the shaft drive. Nancy and I went on three 3,000 mile trips and had several other wonderful adventures. Alas, it didn't like sharing the garage with a Corvette, so it left in the winter of 1991. This was the first time I didn't have a bike in my garage in 24 years. Click on image for larger version |
